WHO WE ARE
Bayou Jamb is an all-encompassing sports marketing company whose core capabilities include the creation of sporting events and sponsorship sales in the high school athlete space. We understand the high school marketplace, build key relationships with community partners, and offer unique platforms to connect student-athletes with brands for next-level promotion.
HOW IT STARTED
Bayou Jamb began in 2006 as a high school football jamboree, in an effort to give back to our community through sports, lifetime achievement acknowledgments, family involvement, and fun.
The event ran from 2006 – 2012 when rules from the NCAA prevented the event from being held on a collegiate campus.
In 2016 the jamboree returned to the University of Louisiana Monroe Campus with the support and backing of the Radio People and community volunteers. The event ran until 2019 but was canceled in 2020 related to Covid 19, but returned in 2021 bigger and better!
In May 2022 Bayou Jamb was refounded and launched a full-time mission. By providing student-athletes, parents, and coaches in multiple sports and communities sporting events, stories, advice, and ideas on physical and mental well-being that improves performance and prepares student-athletes for life inside and outside of sports, we can make a difference. Bayou Jamb intends to engage athletes of all sports and use multiple platforms including sporting events, competitions, podcasting, merchandising, and in-person coaching workshops to do so.
Our mission is to provide an event experience like no other that drives economic growth and enhances the student-athlete experience of team sports while gaining a strong sense of community.

Our mission is to provide a fan experience like no other that drives economic growth, enhances the student-athlete experience, and connects the spirit of a community to like-minded organizations and brands. We are experts at creating strategic partnerships through live sports events and customer sponsorship programs that drive additional revenue streams for our high school affiliates while at the same time generating tangible results for our business partners. Our future in the high school marketplace is bright as we continue to grow and expand through additional events.
